Hyperhidrosis Treatment
Permanently reduce or eliminate excessive sweating
Sweating is the way your body cools itself. It’s an autonomic response when your body temperature rises. The human body has millions of sweat glands that help keep us cool and regulate our body’s temperature. While the sweat glands in your armpits do not significantly contribute to cooling your body, they can produce excessive sweat that isn’t the result of heat or exercise. This condition is called hyperhidrosis.
Hyperhidrosis far exceeds normal sweating. It is usually caused by overactive sweat glands that perspire even without the normal triggers of heat or strenuous physical activity, and stress or nervousness can make it even worse. It can also be caused by medical conditions, such as menopause hot flashes, diabetes, thyroid problems, and some nervous system disorders. It can be both irksome and embarrassing, and often antiperspirants — even prescription strength ones — can’t prevent it.
Fortunately, there is a safe and effective way to treat hyperhidrosis. Using radio-frequency microneedle technology, we can reduce or eliminate the protein structure of the sweat glands in the armpits or other trouble areas. We have seen up to a 90% improvement after two treatments, with results that last six months or more. The simple in-office procedure involves topical numbing, is safe and painless, and you can go back to work the same day. It usually requires three treatments spread about two months apart. We even offer special discounts if this procedure is done in conjunction with other microneedling packages.
